What does Creatives4Africa do?
Our mission is to facilitate the use of African skills outside the formal-job framework. We aim to create a double-sided marketplace where organisations can engage the best available skills for the any and all tasks they need done – outside the traditional and formal labour market model - the job. We seek to not only showcase the best African skills available on the market, but to spark a movement where Africans continually assess the adequacy and relevance of their skills, and develop within them, the habit of continual development and their constant assessment and alignment to the demonstrable needs of African economies. No Jobs Just Work also works to spearhead the freelance market conversation in Africa through the holding of annual two annual conferences 'The Future of Jobs is Freelancing' and 'The Future of Marketing is Art' - ensuring that all major stakeholders are fully engaged and working towards making Africa attractive for investors based on availability of relevant, experienced, fairly priced and highly competent skills rather than the traditional access to our vast mineral wealth. Lastly, we work to actively promote collaboration, networking and aggregation services of African skills to create new opportunities for African skills. We create a platform where African experts and consultants can contribute to the progression of other African businesses outside of the formal-job framework. This participation includes (but is not limited to) collaborations, non-executive board appointments, work-for-equity schemes, product/service evangelism in new markets and traditional, run-of-the-mill consultations. We operate three freelancer websites that cover creatives, technical skills and those that are proficient at getting a wide range of tasks done. Our main website looks primarily at promoting the freelancer conversation across Africa. www.nojobsjustwork.com www.creatives4africa.com www.techies4africa.com www.tasks4africa.com
