High-quality printing and world class service The Bureau Print was established in 1994 and quickly became a leader in print reproduction (repro) in South Africa. In our ongoing efforts to meet our client’s needs and building on the success of our repro house, The Bureau Print expanded into lithographic (litho) printing in 1997 by purchasing two Heidelberg Speedmaster presses. This was accompanied by a computer-to-plate system which was one of the first in the country. Shortly after establishing the litho department, finishing equipment was purchased, as one of the first steps on the road to becoming a true one-stop-shop for all printing requirements. The Bureau Print has always been at the forefront of trends in the printing industry. In 2005, we acquired a HP Indigo 5000 6 colour digital offset press, the first of its kind in South Africa. Since then, we have expanded our digital department by adding a Konica Minolta Bizhub Digital Press. We have always ensured that The Bureau Print’s finishing capabilities are in keeping with international standards. We pride ourselves in purchasing new technologically advanced equipment, such as a Muller Martini Saddle Stitcher. We always ensure that our staff are quality trained in new innovations and systems. To streamline production, a proprietary integrated computer software package was developed, which we believe is integral to our delivery promise. This application, which provides for production scheduling, customer management, and many other business systems, is upgraded on an ongoing basis, to meet the needs of increasingly demanding industry sectors.
