Ghorahi Cement Industry (GCIPL) is the largest cement plant in Nepal, located in the idyllic Dang district , a strategic location in Ghorahi that ensures easy availability of high-grade limestone. This integrated plant, conducts the entire routine from “quarry to lorry”. High grade limestone mines, supply abundant limestone for meeting the daily appetite of producing 2200 MT of Clinker everyday. Supported by the state of the art technology, supplied by the infamous M/S KHD Humbolth Wedag. For further capacity utilization, GCIPL is installing a Cement Grinding Unit, which is expected to give a total production of 750 MT/day of Portland Pozzolona Cement (PPC), and Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). LNVT Bangalore supplies the technology and expertise for this plant. Last but not the least, this factory will serve its nation and its people by creating an import substitute of Rs 10 Billion, which comes in the form of clinker import to Nepal, each year. Furthermore, it aims to create 250 direct jobs and provides domestic employment to over 80 people, and provides training to operate and maintain a cement plant based on international norms of cement manufacturing.
