Desert Enterprises was formed by Sheikh Ali bin Mustahil Aljabri in 1981 as logistics services provider for the big construction projects in Dhofar Governance and Oil & Gas Sector during 1980's. Very fast Sheikh Ali spot the big demand for minerals raw materials for Building Material and Cement industries such as limestone, gypsum, sand and aggregate. As a result Desert Enterprises shifted the company strategy to target replacing the imported raw minerals with local extracted minerals for all the industries within GCC. Today the company stands as one of the oldest successful company in mining sector in Oman. The wealth of technical experience in mining sector and the passion of sharing rewards with local comminutes are the two pillars of the company successes. Desert Enterprises has aspiration to grow further and to develop its activities beyond minerals extract to added value industry. The company is focusing on mineral based products that will replace imported products in Oil & Gas sector, agriculture sector, petrochemical industries and building material.
