This, in fact, is among the latest spinning units in India with yarn quality well accepted in India and Overseas. The spinning unit is located in North of India near the city Chandigarh whereas the Export Marketing office is in Mumbai. For your information, the Synthetic spun yarn section (about 40,300 spindles currently) of Birla Textile Mills started commercial production in May 2000 and the 100% Cotton spinning section (about 43,000 spindles currently) started commercial production in end 2006 - so, the plant is quite new. The current total spindlage of the unit is about 83,300 producing about 1,750 tons of yarn per month. The Spinning unit is already ISO 9001:2000 certified. Also, looking to our past export performance, the Government of India has given to us One Star Export House certification.
